Sadly, only the wood pusher has a helmet on.

Yes I try to encourage the kids to wear them. My son and I both do.

Really amazing what younger kids can do nowadays. I was almost 18 when I pulled my first 360 on the ground... and this kid does it on the half pipe!

My 5 year old was riding my 24" Dirtbike at Sheep last weekend! He wasn't jumping it, but I was amazed he could even ride it!

They're easier on a flyout
I don't always wear my helmet, it depends on what I'm doing, big airs, big stairs, and long rails/ledges = a helmet...
Tech stuff, <4 foot quarters, wedges, and flat rails/ledges = no helmet.
I think it's more important to know your limits and be safe when you need to than to just wear a helmet all the time, but that's my opinion. Most kids starting off don't wear their helmet enough though.
Oh your bike doesn't have a scratch on it?
Tell me again what the best parts are.

I was taking a leisurely ride to work last year and ended up with a broken neck and an 8 inch gash in my head,

Wasn't there a thread about that, with pictures? If so I remember that was pretty crazy damage you had! Glad you're ok.

I was taking a "leisurely walk" through the swamp and wound up w/ two permanently disabled feet... 'ish happens, but I'm "very" good at falling down (judo, Marine Corps Martial Arts, Kung Fu, and my bike) and when I'm at a park I'm normally paying a TON of attention to what I'm doing... I'd be less surprised if I busted myself up just cruising around actually...

Yeah, there is a thread floating around here somewhere. It will be one year ago next Friday.
Time flies!
